Hi, I'm Fay!
I'm a (primarily) digital designer, working in the tech industry for over a decade. I enjoy creating impactful, useful, and beautiful designs - to me, that encompasses everything from aesthetics to user experiences.
Okay, but like what do you actually do?
I love designing digital products (desktop or app) that help people, whether that's from scratch or building upon existing brand guidelines to help businesses conform to a design strategy, creating websites and marketing assets that follow them (with a little animation thrown in there too!).
I enjoy putting my Masters degree in Product Design to good use by working with product teams and users to bring digital products to life. Whilst my experience and educational background is in Design, I've also worked within Marketing teams which benefits me when working cross-functionally. I particularly love working in the start-up space as it often comes paired with the freedom to create something completely new, but the opportunity to learn and grow within a well-established brand gets me equally as excited!

Aesthetics
First impressions count. Functionality is great, but you'll build trust with your users when they can tell time has been spent on all aspects of your business.
Consistency
Consistency creates familiarity, and that's what makes people think of your brand when they next need *insert your industry expertise here*.
Familiarity
Speaking of familiarity, it's important to get familiar with your users in order to create a product they'll love to use and improve their processes.
Usability
Your product (whether it's desktop software, an app, or your website) should be intuitive and easy to use for your desired user - that shouldn't mean boring.
